We have an exciting UX & CRO Lead role for a European Market Leading Ecommerce Organisation. A pioneer in the sector, their mission is “To inspire people to experience life.” As such they have helped create unforgettable memories by selling nearly 6.5 million experience gifts annually.

They are now looking to expand their business and as part of this they are looking to hire a UX & CRO Lead, to head a brand-new department within the company. The UX & CRO Lead will be contributing to the optimisation strategy of their online ecommerce channels, while overseeing the CRO practice and developing their optimisation & CRO team. You will be responsible for leading online data-driven business growth initiatives.

You will be an integral part of our Online Experience team, and work closely with their Trading Managers, Acquisitions, eCRM and Merchandising teams. You will drive a highly iterative ecommerce optimisation process, with the support of our product owners, UX designers, tech squads and content experts.

The Ecommerce UX & CRO Lead will walk the fine line of equally caring about creating a great customer experience and generating value for the business. They are looking for a person passionate about designing ecommerce optimisation solutions, with a deep understanding of UX and Data analytics, capable of delivering measurable and impactful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ecommerce optimisation strategy across various touchpoints and channels from concept to implementation.
  • Design, deliver and measure ecommerce growth campaigns across multiple markets
  • Track, measure and report on ecommerce experience KPIs (engagement, conversion funnels, ROI)
  • Work alongside Product & UX team to inform the ecommerce product roadmap
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and disciplines (trading, acquisitions, merchandising, content, BI) to align and deliver CRO campaigns across multiple brands
  • Implement hands-on an experiment-learn-optimise process to continuously improve the performance of our ecommerce channels.
  • Promote an optimisation process that is iterative, data-driven, focused on customer needs and value delivered to the business.
  • Manage online A/B testing initiatives.
  • Lead online campaigns creative concepts and implementation.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience driving ecommerce optimisation initiatives, and understanding how they impact business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce UX best practices.
  • Strong digital design skills, including working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS.
  • Ability to design simple optimisation solution for complex ecommerce growth problems.
  • High expertise in testing, iterating, and reporting on CRO campaigns impact.
  • Experience designing experiments, a/b tests, proof of concepts.
  • Experience working across the entire ecommerce optimisation process, from research, problem definition and ideation through to solution design and implementation.
  • Experience with A/B testing and personalisation tools (Fanplayr, Fresh Relevance,VWO).
  • Strong web analytics and reporting skills.
  • Ability to extrapolate insights through data.
  • Outside the box creative and critical thinking.
  • Highly collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Expert-level communication skills, and ability to argument decisions and solution rationale.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates problem solving and showcases how your solutions have led to business impact.
