Job Title: Technical Lead
Location: Remote / Dublin City Centre

Are you a Technical Lead that is looking for a role where you will have a massive amount of ownership for a companies technical roadmap and scaling their technical capabilities? This could be the perfect role for you.

My client is a well established EdTech company that are looking to hire a Technical Lead to work alongside key stakeholders in managing and streamlining their infrastructure, development and technical roadmap.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensuring adherence to best practice development processes
• Managing relationships with vendors and development partners
• Working across all aspects of the technology stack, from UI to database
• Development stack utilises PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, jQuery, MySQL and AWS
• Maintaining quality control of code and all deployments using version control repository such as BitBucket or Git
• Ensuring infrastructure is operating effectively and efficiently (Linux, AWS, Cloudflare, Nginx)
• Providing guidance and recommendations for the technology roadmap for both development and infrastructure

About you:

• 7+ years experience of technical leadership experience with a focus on software development, infrastructure management and technical design of end to end solutions involving external vendors
• Hands on experience with PHP, Laravel, MySQL and AWS.
• Hands on experience working with JavaScript related frameworks (bonus points for React)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing vendors and development partners
• Extremely detail oriented
