Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on audience & touchpoint/channel planning, across the client base
• Acting on a mandate for change: guiding creative teams on social media channels, formats, innovations and partnerships (i.e. being the ‘go to’ person for social media in the agency)
• Working with the creative, strategy and client service teams, on how campaigns and content should be implemented on social media, to produce the best outcomes for clients
• Owning and managing Business and Ads Managers internally, as well as external relationships with platform providers and agency account representatives
• Staying abreast of the latest important trends on social media, including the emergence of new social media and platforms, and the best thinking on existing, established platforms
• Collaborating with mixed-discipline teams to originate ideas and to create and validate creative expressions on social media
• Forging relationships with media and PR partners to achieve integrated solutions
• Identifying suitable 3rd parties for partnerships & collaborations

Skills/Experience needed:

• 5+ years hands-on experience in social media
• Social platform proficiency
• Expert-level familiarity & proficiency with the major social media platforms, both from technical and user behaviour perspectives (usage habits, platform formats, media approaches)
• A proven communicator, able to convince and communicate understanding to clients & colleagues
• Detail-oriented, committed to getting things right & always improving
• Interested in social media, emerging platforms & technologies
