Head of Digital Marketing

Our client is experiencing an exciting growth trajectory, and as a result, is now adding the key hire of Head of Digital Marketing to the marketing department.

You will report directly to the CMO and will be responsible for driving the company's digital strategy, acquisition, and online growth. You will work closely with other marketing team members, agencies, and department managers to maximize ROI from their many marketing initiatives.

With a client list that includes some of the biggest tech/creative companies on the planet, we have designed and created many of the coolest spaces in the city. Leaders in their field, they are looking for a driven individual to help shape and influence the marketing outputs for the business’s future.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to make their mark on the business and work with growing budgets and targets. You should enjoy a challenge, be highly organised and hyper curious to always make things better. A numbers person who is a strong communicator who thrives on collaborating, leading and ensuring the business succeeds digital goals, maintaining their competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

  • Online lead generation
  • Driving a significant increase in relevant organic traffic & leads
  • Developing content-based strategies to increase organic rankings
  • Ownership of full lead funnel and accuracy of same
  • Alignment of Salesforce and HubSpot data
  • Building an accurate attribution model to help support paid marketing initiatives
  • Responsible for paid marketing performance
  • Management of agencies to support the online function
  • Hiring of marketing staff as required
  • Designing email workflows for all client types
  • Optimizing CAC from online activities
  • Aligning branded marketing activity and online performance-based campaigns

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must have at least 5 years’ previous experience working in a data-driven marketing function
  • Possess a marketing/business 3rd level degree or similar
  • Be able to interpret complex data sets and extract valuable insights for growth and optimization
  • Have experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strategically minded, with a forward-thinking approach
  • You must be highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • You will have excellent project and people management skills
  • Focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You must be able to work on your own initiative, take ownership of tasks and be accountable
