On behalf of a Global Tech Platform, which has won multiple awards for innovation in Ecommerce, Technology and Customer Experience, we are on the lookout for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Sales Team.
You will be responsible for maximising sales and revenue by signing on new brand partnerships from a large portfolio of opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will work with large clients to drive commercial sales and priorities revenue opportunities. Main responsibilities

Take on a client-facing role building relationships with prospective partners in order to drive Commercial Sales.

Identify new pipelines for business opportunities and strategise your approach to achieving these goals.

Have a solutions-based approach to sales by having an excellent understanding of the customer’s needs.

Present customer proposals to clients which have been prepared to the highest professional standard so as to best represent the company brand.

Lead the design and presentation of customer solutions in client proposals, maintaining excellent customer service delivery throughout.

Manage your portfolio of sales opportunities through Salesforce keeping on top of your own data management in order to report accurately to the senior management team.

Ensure sales targets are consistently achieved by effectively managing pipelines and sales executions.

Support key internal stakeholders such as the Product, Commercial and Technical teams with your thorough understanding of the market and client requirements. Assist with New Product Development plans wherever possible, using your knowledge and client feedback to directly influence new releases.

Work cross-functionally with other departments throughout the sales process during competitive tenders and when responding to RFPs.

Key Requirements

5 or more years of experience working in a sales environment.

A proven track record of smashing sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.

Impeccable communication skills both in professional and social settings.

Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting sales propositions at a senior level.

Strong relationship management skills both with clients and stakeholders.

Experience working with Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Salesforce on a daily basis.

Some prior knowledge of the travel industry is a bonus.
