TalentHub have been approached, exclusively, once again to bring their technical recruitment skills in finding the next great Python Developer to join an expanding media company in Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Ireland's most talented creative companies helping to design, build and deliver best-in-class workflow tools to a team of almost 80 professionals in their brand-new office in Dublin.

You will work within a diverse, fun and passionate team with exceptional technical knowledge. The team lead has a solid track record leading in technical companies and heads the team with a hands-on-keys work ethic, working to expand the team’s knowledge and skills at every stage. This is a rare work environment that brings fun, creativity and technical skills together.

You will be reporting to the Head of Development, working closely in creating and supporting the tools and systems that help produce world class content for international release.

  • Building new tools to improve workflows
  • Requirement gathering with the larger team on new process tool
  • Mentoring team members
  • Work with senior stakeholders to demonstrate new tools
  • Contribute to the roadmap for the team
  • Help manage and resolve ticket issues
  • Diagnosis of technical problems thought troubleshooting and optimization
  • Help with R&D of new systems
  • Automation tasks, where possible, company wide
  • Bring best practice for documentation and coding principles

Position Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of Programming/Scripting experience Python
  • Degree in Computer Science or work experience equivalence
  • A drive to learn new things and apply them quickly
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Relational databases knowledge
  • Knowledge of working on a Microsoft windows and Linux infrastructure
  • GitHub knowledge and experience
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland with no visa requirements
