Overview

We have a very exciting new Product Strategist role with a unique global design company one in which strives to create a sustainable business; a home where exceptional talent can make a meaningful difference. The global design consultancy specializes in business, brand, product, and experience design.

They are seeking a Product Strategist who will align the user experience design with client’s business goals and strategy.

You will assist in guiding the overall design strategy for a product, align user research and business intelligence to help shape the product roadmap and the product designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a clear understanding of the client’s business goals and user needs, identifying and articulating high-impact research questions and opportunities, while continuing to drive strategic design decisions.
  • Develop a framework for running client and user workshops and a cleared defined methodology to produce synthesised reports for the client with meaningful insights.
  • Synthesize user research and business data to help shape the product roadmap, designs and future research activities.
  • Create and review user stories within a given design sprint to ensure objectives, goals, and requirements are clear, and led by user research.
  • Use storytelling to communicate high-level concepts and research insights in presentations, reports, and workshops.
  • Evaluate and measure the outcome for each design sprint to provide recommendations on how best to improve the overall product design and collaboration between cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate and run workshops with both end users and clients, producing UX reports which summarises key findings which determine future product design at the end of each phase.
  • Define and scope a new product / platform or ecosystem; define the key features & functionality sets which will differentiate the product over the next 24-36 months.
  • Formulate concepts and requirements into a strategic roadmap and overall approach including IA and UX artifacts such as site maps, user journeys maps, process flows, user personas, wireframes, and low fidelity prototypes in order to demonstrate a project vision.
  • Perform UX audits and analyse data from various measurement tools in order to provide insights on user behaviour and identify recommended design changes.
  • Identify potential future opportunities through recommended revisions, or improvements for later stages.

Key Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience in UX Design and Strategy
  • Strategic in their ability to visually present their thinking
  • Good understanding of tech and consumer behaviour
  • Excellent knowledge of customer experience design
  • Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Adobe CC, Axure, Sketch, Figma, Framer, In Vision Studio)
  • Tech architecture
  • Product proposition creation and definition
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex product design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
