Overview

We have an exciting Product Owner role with one of Ireland and the UK’s leading luxury brands. With over 40 years of experience, their name is synonymous with fine jewellery in beautiful designs, quality watches, giftware and above all unquestioning commitment to customer service.

They are on an exciting journey to grow and develop their brands with clearly defined target customers and brand positioning strategies. As part of this journey, they have been developing a team of modern marketing and ecommerce experts across Data, Strategy & Planning, Performance Marketing & Website Development.

Working within this team and within the context of a CX DevOps function supporting customer facing channels, this role’s key deliverable is the successful launch of a UX Improvement Project for their UK ecommerce website.

Included in scope of this work are several related/peripheral improvement projects, therefore you must have the ability to work on multiple customer and system oriented digital projects of various size and scope simultaneously.

Key to the success of this role is the ability to translate UX/UI designs into user stories alongside creating technical platform requirements data and workflows into a digestible format. Excellent communication and commercial skills are required to accurately manage and prioritise the project backlog in line with business value and time constraints but fundamentally helping to create frontend solutions that improves specific customer segment needs and drive business kpis, objectives and strategic vision.

Working with internal and offshore development functions the requirements definition process will need to meet both internal and external team standards to ensure success of key business projects.

This role is also proactively responsible for reviewing processes and making recommendations on best practise and workflows to support efficient and commercially viable output, handover, training and transition to other teams and stakeholders. Improving business efficiency will ultimately drive project delivery volume and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with stakeholders and cross functional teams:
  • Working with cross functional teams and suppliers, determine and document user requirements for new feature-sets, customer facing improvements, related tasks & projects following key objectives and business processes and abide by those requirements (or update as appropriate based on feature, application or system upgrades) for future projects.
  • Working with internal and external dev teams, play a support on comprehensive E2E test case review at the feature/project/application implementation phase and downstream levels if needed.
  • Create direct channels of communication to external vendors/development agency for requirements review and further interrogation without the need for managerial intervention.
  • Training, transition and handover to operational and support roles within the business.
  • Governance on requirements gathering management plan for each task/feature update or project and contribute to regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress, scope expectation.
