We have an exciting, fast-paced role open for a PR & Stakeholder Engagement Manager with one of Ireland’s leading consumer service brands. As a key member of the Brand, Sponsorship and PR team, you will be responsible for the delivery of a proactive PR Strategy, to grow and sustain the client’s brands in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Marketing & Customer insights team as PR lead for all sponsorship, marketing, digital campaigns, ensuring external communications are fully aligned with commercial and reputational goals. You will be responsible for managing the Customer Solutions press office function, liaising with key internal stakeholders and the Corporate Communications team, to build media relationships and mitigate reputational risk for the client’s brands.
You will also need to co-ordinate strategic stakeholder engagement, through effective contact and communication planning, working closely with relationship owners across the business. You will also manage relationships with agency partners across Corporate, Consumer and Sports PR in ROI and NI (Northern Ireland), and have responsibility for managing PR budgets and measurement.
Develop and implement a PR Strategy for the client’s customer facing brands to deliver positive and accurate media coverage.
Work collaboratively in a busy cross-functional team and demonstrate strong understanding of the energy industry and competitive landscape to support a variety of B2C and B2B campaigns.
Develop and manage effective PR and communications campaigns to promote existing and new key pipeline products and services that support the client’s brand strategy.
Manage the consumer PR agenda and ensure plans are fully integrated with the wider marketing and business agendas; ensure commercial business objectives are fully supported and risks are mitigated.
Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding PR results.
Measure and report on the PR campaign performance using best-in-class market effectiveness performance management.
Work closely with the Group Corporate Communications Department to ensure consistent and on-brand messaging across all communications.
PR Crisis management lead for customer solutions, responsible for crisis preparedness and risk mitigation planning, liaising with internal stakeholders and corporate communications as required.
Manage a stakeholder plan with an effective contact strategy and communication plan.
Stakeholder Engagement Lead on key strategic projects.
Ensure relationships with key media and stakeholders are strong; proactively pursue media opportunities and lead on all media queries in relations to core offerings and consumer PR campaigns.
What do you need to have?
Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience and evidence of strong PR and stakeholder management experience.
Strong attention to detail with exceptional communication skills.
Clear experience in effectively driving positive collaborations with a myriad of stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
Solutions orientated, with the ability to multitask while creating innovative PR campaigns.
Team player and a self -starter with excellent organisation and project management skills.
