PPC Manager – FinTech

This exciting challenger brand within the FinTech space are making huge waves as they bring a fresh approach to international ecommerce. Their Online Marketing division is growing at an accelerated pace and they now seek an experienced PPC manager to take ownerships of Paid Search Campaigns on a global basis.

This is a role for an ambitious individual who can work well alongside other managers in the team and is smart, analytical, resilient, driven by Results and has a positive can-do attitude. In addition, PPC Manager will be an important part of the wider Online Marketing division, and someone directly involved in driving growth and influencing the overall business strategy.

Role & Candidate Summary:

  • Requires an experienced PPC Manager who has previously owned and executed PPC Strategy on a large scale, ideally for a large business, or agency-based for several clients.
  • Proven track record of achieving optimum CPC, CPA, CPM etc in line with Budget.
  • Large Budgetary management experience – this is a role for a PPC Manager who comes from a business where Paid Performance Marketing is central to their overall marketing output.
  • First class stakeholder management skills – the PPC Manager will spend significant amounts of time with other divisions within the business, and must be someone proven to have woked well in a matrix or cross-functional environment, as well as collaboration with external agencies and 3rd party partners.
  • Investigate, recommend and justify new tools and methodologies within SEM – you should be a confident and articulate communicator, capable of presenting business cases and proposals to senior management and external parties.
  • Be the go-to person for expertise in PPC & SEM – you should be extremely savvy with latest disruptive technologies in this sector and be someone who is ahead of the curve in your knowledge of this area within Marketing.
  • Responsible for international activity – ideally you will have worked in an international business and have a strong awareness of how tactical campaigns differ from region to region, factoring in cultural differences, nuances and access to technology in various parts of the world.
  • It is essential that the PPC Manager has first class testing, measurement and analytical skills. Excellent MS Excel skills should be a given. .
  • This is a results-focused role, and the PPC Manager should be very comfortable setting, justifying and achieving KPI’s and tangible Goals.
  • Naturally curious with a problem-solving mind, independent thinker and the ability to execute projects on own initiative.
  • It is anticipated that the role-holder will be University educated with a track record of ongoing training and career development – both formal and informal/onsite.
  • It would be of distinct advantage if you have worked in a fast-paced online business, during a time of high growth/new product launches, or expansion into new markets/sectors.
