Learning Co-ordinator

Overview

We have an exciting Learning Co-ordinator role with one of the leading universities in Europe, based in Dublin. The person will be joining the fast-growing team focused on delivering shorter, career-focused training to individuals across a wide variety of Professional Diploma and related courses.

The Learning Project Manager will be responsible for a number of course development and course maintenance projects, following defined course development processes. The successful individual will work alongside the Head of Product & Course Development and other Learning Project Managers to deliver a growing portfolio of online courses in a wide range of subject matter areas, gradually introducing new technologies and instructional design approaches.

You will be experienced in coordinating the development of multiple new courses at any one time, from the ground up, working closely with L&D and/or academic teams, subject matter experts, trainers, designers and external suppliers. You navigate multidisciplinary environments with ease through effective communication, prioritisation, transparency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own course projects, from concept idea to their handoff to the Operations team as a

deliverable product.

  • Work with subject matter experts to deliver courses according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with all teams involved in the course projects (Academic, Operations,

Marketing).

  • Apply defined development processes while identifying and suggesting improvements.
  • Create necessary documentation to fulfill quality, operational, academic and marketing requirements.
  • Ensure quality of content, documentation, activity and assessment materials.
  • Keep course development on budget.

Key experience

  • Project management in learning projects: 3 years.
  • Professional experience in the corporate training sector.
  • Good project management record in learning projects.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Good writing skills, able to write courseware documentation for instructors,

operations teams, learning technologists, sales and marketing in coordination with

subject matter experts.

  • Curious and inquisitive, willing to learn more, and to learn about learning.
  • Familiar with instructional design in blended, video & e-learning formats.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems.
