International Business Development Manager – UK or Ireland based.

TalentHub are delighted to be partnering with a hugely successful Irish consumer brand in the lifestyle/luxury goods sector, with ambitious plans to scale both the internal team and the external customer market. The brand has grown phenomenally over the past couple of years, and 2021 now promises huge growth into international markets. Their products are regularly in the media and used by influencers, and they now seek an ambitious, experienced, results-driven person to join our fast-growing team to develop their UK & International supply chain and reseller/distribution channels.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a brilliant track record in in launching and developing Lifestyle/Fashion/Beauty brands in international markets (with a particular focus on the UK) and have proven success in managing relationships with key distributors and retailers.

This role can be based in the UK or Ireland, but will require some travel between the two jurisdictions, once it is safe to do so.

Role Summary

  • Development of the brand through a network of distributors and retailers across UK & international markets.
  • Identify International opportunities by market and by channel.
  • Define strategic business plan and marketing activities ensuring an integrated approach across the regions.
  • Manage the company’s relationships with partners and formulate marketing activities and policies for promoting the brand in international markets.
  • Develop Distributor/Retailer launch package in conjunction with the senior management team.
  • Negotiate Distributor contracts, pricing and agreements.
  • Create and present business development training to Distributors/Retailers and their teams.
  • Evaluate and present sales performance by market/distributor/retailer to senior management team monthly.
  • Quarterly performance reviews and planning session with key retailers and distributors.
  • Work with distributors to develop purchase and sales forecasts.
  • Developing and launching new products in international markets and managing the trade support budgets
