We have a very exciting new role for Head of Operations in one of Ireland’s fastest growing professional services firms. This newly created position has been crafted to lighten the load from the CEO and COO, and help them run this company of 50+ staff.

This is a key strategic role in the company, allowing them to build on the unique and strong people-oriented culture already at the heart of this business. The Head of Operations will take ownership of resource planning, HR, Quality and Business Operations, and will also lead and support innovation initiatives such as LEAN.

Your role:

  • Work directly with the leadership team in setting strategy and goals that promote company growth, sustainable profit and success for their people

  • Spearhead the development of a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the business.

  • Devise multi-annual strategic resource plans in line with business expansion plan needs; researching best mix of offshore, local and direct staffing solutions for greatest efficiency

  • Oversee management of the maintenance of IT systems, including ensuring the business has the most cost-effective and efficient software and hardware solutions to support both staff and clients

  • Responsible for implementation and monitoring of a robust quality control system throughout all of the compliance teams

  • Review work practices, implement programmes to improve existing internal support systems and policies

  • Oversee third party HR service providers as needed

  • Ensure implementation of personal development plans

Your Profile:

  • The successful candidate will have been involved in a managerial role and ideally have been involved in a scaling project, or have worked in a company at a time of high growth.

  • Whilst we welcome candidates from all sectors, preferred backgrounds include professional services, consultancy, finance or ecommerce.

  • 5 years experience in an operational role that was multifaceted.

  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service and employee management

  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources in line with financial targets

  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create efficiency and respond to rapidly changing business demands
