We have a very exciting new role with Ireland’s largest performance and sports fashion retail Brand. They are a Global strategic partner for all major sports brands including Nike, Adidas and Under Armour. They are searching for a Head of Buying. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will get the chance to work with the fastest growing and most successful eCommerce brand in Ireland.
In this role you will be responsible for representing the Concept & Buying teams in driving the implementation of their Brand Strategy. You will be working in partnership with the Brand Concept, Marketing, Creative, eCommerce and Media & CRM teams.
They are looking for an ambitious, passionate commercially minded professional with a background in fashion and buying.
Work with the Concept & Buying team and key peers to deliver strategic initiatives which support the overall Brand Strategy.
Manage the output and roles and responsibilities by department of the Concept Steering meeting.
Lead campaign and content briefs taking feedback from the Buying and GTM teams.
Co-ordinate a seasonal calendar and review cadence, utilising the insights to define and adapt the future strategy.
Managing set up and negotiating terms with new suppliers including SLA set up and management.
Setting and communicating concept specific strategy and clearly communicating this to the concept team, translating the strategy into personal goals and KPIs.
A minimum of 6 years’ experience in the fashion industry
Ability to engage, motivate and lead a team to success.
Highly organized with robust planning ability to enable achievement of KPIs.
Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders through data driven storytelling.
Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills with a focus on cross functional Collaboration.
Ability to display an understanding of consumer and marketplace trends and convert them into relevant internal actions.
