Overview

Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: 100% Remote AND/OR South Dublin

Permanent role

This is a very exciting job opportunity to work on a greenfield project within the education sector. If you’re a Full Stack Developer who has a keen interest in developing web and mobile courses to help people further their education, this could be the perfect job for you.

Giving that this is a greenfield project, the stack is totally open so this makes it a very interesting job for someone to have a lot of ownership of development from scratch.

AND you can also work from the comforts of your home as this role can be 100% remote.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with product managers to ideate software solutions
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

What you’ll need:

  • The Full Stack Developer will ideally have experience with HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL
  • If you don’t have experience with the above technologies, don’t worry as this is a greenfield project so if you’re experienced with other programming languages, frameworks and databases that’s all good – C#, Java, Python, Angular, MongoDB
  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer working on web and mobile development projects
  • Experience working with API’s
  • An IT degree in computer science or a related field
  • Great communication skills
