Since their inception in 2008 the company has built an impressive base of clients across government and state agencies, aerospace companies, large corporate and financial institutions. Due to continued success they are now looking for a finance manager to join the business and take ownership of the finance function. This is a brand-new role and will really suit someone who is eager to build out a department, team, and eventually progress into management. You’ll oversee leading the day-to-day operations of the financial and accounting functions of the business while working closely with the leadership team to scale the company. Reporting to the directors of the business you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of all finance activities across the organization in both Ireland and the US.
On the Finance and Accounting side you will take charge of all monthly financial reporting requirements, ensure that the company is tax compliant in both Ireland and the US, manage treasury and cashflow, tsking ownership of the AP process and analysis of all overheads.
In terms of Financial Planning and Analysis you will own the budget and forecasting cycles.
You’ll look at analysis and reporting across sales, margins, and profitability and present these to the leadership team.
Prepare and monitor the annual budget with the commercial teams and perform monthly spending analysis of operating expenses versus budget and forecast.
Managing projects around system improvements and streamlining of data flow.

A third level degree and a professional accounting accreditation.
Third level degree and professional accounting accreditation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Extensive experience in an FP&A and Accounting in a growing SaaS business.
Experience working with a US entity.
An audit background and involvement in funding would be a big plus.
Desire and ability to grow and lead a team over the coming year.
Track record of identifying opportunities and successfully leading process improvement or other strategic projects.
