We have a 9 month maternity cover contract for an Email Marketing Specialist to join a global online marketplace. Role Summary:

Email design, best practices, list building and segmentation, deployment and reporting for direct email marketing campaigns

Segmentation and leveraging the marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting

Working with the global email marketing team for any ad-hoc requests and re-engagement tasks

Utilising Google Analytics for tracking email campaign web performance

Reporting on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts, analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements

Creation of graphics for use on web and in email campaigns

The ideal candidate:

High energy, positive individual, with a self-directed attitude and used to working autonomously.

Experienced with HTML/CSS coding to develop or amend a suite of email templates for marketing campaigns

Databases management experience

Advanced skills for Google Analytics and metrics

Previous experience in an email marketing position or similar role

Proven experience in marketing communications across a broad spectrum of offline and online media (e.g. print, direct mail, email marketing)

A wealth of email marketing/database segmentation experience

Knowledge of ESP Platforms (Hubspot preferable)

Proficiency with Dreamweaver, InDesign and Photoshop
