The Opportunity:

We are very pleased to announce a wonderful new opportunity with a rapidly growing, award-winning, Irish online retailer. Our client is looking for a creative, passionate, and driven individual with brilliant graphic design & multimedia skills to join their growing team as a Digital Designer. The chosen candidate will get to work with leading brands in the industry and will have the freedom to lead and own the creative output on promotions, social content, and web design.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the visual development of creative concepts and design for all brand communications
  • Ability to work cross-functionally alongside other design resources internally (including freelancers) as well as external agencies, photographers, and other third-party suppliers
  • Produce graphic and HTML content in line with briefs provided by the merchandising team including page layouts and themes, email designs, site graphics, banner ads and flash animations
  • Design concepts for site changes and new product launches
  • Adhere to and help develop online brand guidelines, ensuring content always conforms with the brand guidelines
  • Be proactive in contributing to the development and continuous improvement of all the guidelines
  • Creation and sending of e-mail marketing to the customer database
  • Creation and editing of video content for media platforms
  • Development of the Brand Book and ensuring that design is executed according to its guidelines.

Previous Requirements:

The perfect candidate will have:

  • A working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects & Premiere Pro
  • A keen eye for design elements such as composition, colour & type
  • Clear enthusiasm for a variety of social media platforms
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (often subject to change)
  • Experience with email marketing and a good understanding of print production techniques is preferred.
