We are searching for an experienced Content Editor for a rapidly-growing company who provide a very important service – building innovative MedTech products that are delivered to some of the most vulnerable people in society. As part of their plan to double the size of the Irish operation, they now seek a Content professional who can edit written and multimedia content on a range of serious subjects.
The audiences for this company’s content are the general public, but the content is often provided by subject matter experts in Pharma, Life Sciences, HealthCare Research and Psychology, so it is essential that the role holder can edit what is often very complicated information and turn it into meaningful and engaging pieces of content for Patients and the general public.
The ideal candidate:
Likely to hold a degree in Journalism or similar relevant qualification.
4+ years’ experience creating, curating and editing content, ideally on topics from the sectors mentioned above, or from the business world, current affairs or similar sector where credibility and precision is essential.
Solid project management skills and used to working to deadlines and targets.
Can manage external agencies, eg Localization partners etc.
Good visual skills – whilst you don’t need to be a designer, you should appreciate the aesthetics of how the content is delivered and be able to critique visual output.
First class Adobe CS skills and strong HTML.
Tons of initiative and a can-do, positive attitude.
Highly collaborative, the Digital Content Editor will work alongside a number of internal and external stakeholders and so requires someone used to collaborating with both groups.
