The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for an innovative, motivated, and creatively-driven professional to join their team of thinkers, designers, and engineers as Business Analyst.

Responsibilities:

The chosen candidate will:

• Take the lead on running workshops, gathering requirements to help solve some of the most exciting challenges for our clients

• Liaise with product owners and industry leaders to drive product definition

• Create personas and document customer journeys / business flows

• Decompose product features into appropriate formats; user stories, acceptance criteria and team backlogs

• Collaborate with a world-class team of digital experts across disciplines to innovate and deliver digital solutions

• Contribute towards effort estimations, as part on an agile team

• Validate both functional and non-functional requirements are appropriately implemented for a product

• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within your area of influence

• Research the latest digital trends, best-practices and technologies.

Previous Requirements:

The perfect candidate will have:

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Digital Business Analyst

• Experience imagining, designing, and collaborating on the implementation of market-leading products across one or more technologies and business sectors

• Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail and Utilities

• Experience with requirements elicitation techniques

• Interviews, questionnaires, user observation, workshops, role playing prototypes

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

• Experience working on agile projects

• User story writing and acceptance criteria

• Maintaining a team backlog at the sprint / iteration level

• Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or equivalent

• Experience with design thinking methodologies

• Personas, customer journey mapping, voice of the customer

• User story mapping

• An interest in honing processes and evaluating new tools?

• Ability to develop good working relationships, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence

• Insurance industry knowledge an advantage
