The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a highly motivated Commercial Strategy Senior Manager to become part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team within one of the top 4 management consultancy firms to shape, design and deliver end to end transformation for its clients.

This person will use strategic thinking and human centered design to inspire client stakeholders, imagining innovative solutions aligned to their business strategy. You will lead projects, collaborating with creative, technical and delivery experts as part of a vibrant agile team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with senior client stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and drive out their future transformation roadmap.
  • Understanding the commercial drivers of their business and supporting clients to explore opportunities to disrupt themselves, targeting new propositions, business models and ecosystems.
  • Leading the design of future state customer experiences, combining customer, business, and commercial insights to drive out future state initiatives aligned to clients’ strategic outcomes.
  • Working as the intersection point between business and technology, supporting senior client stakeholders to articulate their desired outcomes and commercial value, and translating these into tangible execution priorities that can be understood by delivery leads.
  • Actively contributing to the development of the team; coaching junior members, identifying ways to develop their capability and building out our talent pipeline.
  • Owning and managing relationships with senior client stakeholders and other teams
  • Leading internal firm initiatives and activities across proposition design, thought leadership, industry events, talent development and business development activities.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years’ prior experience working in Consulting, Customer/ Commercial Strategy and/or Digital Transformation based roles

¾ Proven track record in leading end-to-end business transformation projects for clients; defining the approach, managing the team and developing outputs.

  • Experience of delivering projects in both B2B and B2C environments across such domains as Digital Transformation, Sales & Service Excellence, Channel Transformation, Customer Experience Improvement, Customer Operating Model, Market Analysis & Proposition Design an advantage.
  • Commercially focused with an attention to detail and experience interfacing with senior executives to drive out their commercial priorities.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, provide external insights and challenge while working in a problem-solving environment.
  • Strong collaborator and team player, with the ability to develop good working relationships across varying stakeholder groups, in challenging environments and remote work settings.
