Overview

We are currently working on several Commercial & Marketing roles, ranging from Manager – Senior Manager for one of the top 4 global management consultancy firms. The company is leading the landscape for innovation and business change.

They are currently hiring Commercial & Marketing Managers/Senior Managers for who could come from the following industries – Financial Services, TMT (Technology, Media & Telco), Life Sciences and Government/Utilities.

You will act as a catalyst to drive growth within priority sectors, clients and offerings by enabling and executing actions that deliver value. Your role will include a range of commercial, business development and marketing activities, including developing insights and thought leadership that inspire their clients and position them for success.

You will act as the primary interface between our Marketing & Business Development team and the client-facing business.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategy & Communication:

  • Together with the Industry Lead Partner drive the development and delivery of market strategies which identify priority growth areas, including sectors, clients and offerings.
  • Drive strategic business development activities, ensuring a proactive approach and bringing a strong understanding of the local & international market.
  • Build a strong cross-firm industry community.
  • Strengthen connections across our Global and European network to leverage the best of our wider firm.

Eminence, Marketing & Thought Leadership:

  • Create, lead, and deliver a marketing plan that aligns with financial objectives.
  • Develop project plans, set timelines and work with marketing COEs (events, design, digital and PR) to execute end-to-end campaigns across multiple marketing channels.
  • Support Industry lead in setting sector insights agenda and the development of local sector insights.

Portfolio management & Sales enablement:

  • Support annual account planning and forecasting processes; work with account teams to identify positioning of top account priorities.
  • Work with our commercial business partners to navigate pricing methods, structures, and processes to provide financial and commercial insight to the Leadership team.
  • Build a culture of sales excellence and sales enablement across the industry team.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding/ experience of business development/ sales in a professional services context.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate concepts into practical and executable plans.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize, set and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact and interface with all levels, especially with leadership.
  • Ability to deal with a degree of ambiguity and use own initiative.
  • Strong communications, writing and presentation skills.

Experience:

  • A blend of commercial, business development and marketing experience ideally within the TMT or professional services environment.
  • Management, strategy planning and implementation experience
  • Setting out a clear vision and direction.
  • Degree and/or equivalent qualified.
  • Proven track record of working in a complex, matrix or multi-faceted environment.
