TalentHub are actively looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager for our client, an amazing Irish Tech Company with massive growth plans for 2021 and beyond!

Based in the client's HQ in Dublin, you will play a critical role by recruiting, inspiring, training and leading a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will have a consistent record of building and developing sales teams, and has the correct mix of business savvy, coaching ability and sales acumen.

The Role

  • Recruit, develop and lead a team of Business Development Executives to meet monthly goals, KPIs forecasted opportunities & revenue targets
  • Work with senior leadership to develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales and growth metrics
  • Coach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based skills through all facets of the sales cycle.
  • Identify where improvements can be made and develop success-driven plans
  • Lead operational execution for sales performance, forecasting, and strategic coaching
  • Manage weekly sales meetings and pipeline conversion
  • Run team forecasting meetings and deal reviews to deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Weekly presentation of sales revenue and KPIs to the Head of Sales and the CEO
  • Establish and implement best practices for maximising pipeline creation, forecasting accuracy, and Salesforce hygiene

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years' experience in a sales management position within a Tech/SaaS company
  • Proven experience in hiring, training and coaching a high-performance team
  • Self-motivated, detailed-oriented and a big appetite for high achievement in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated passion for start-ups and new technology businesses
  • History of scaling sales teams during periods of high-growth
  • Excellent attention to detail, with great planning and organisation skills
  • Strong analytical skills to increase efficiencies in the sales process and measure performance
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and other software applications
  • Fluency in another European language is a bonus
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Computer Science
