It has been a very exciting 18 months for Arboretum. We’ve invested significantly in the online side of our business and that investment paid off when Covid 19 restrictions were put in place. We are sure of our brand; we understand our customer and we are ready to take things to the next level.

You will report directly to the CCO regarding aspects of your performance and progress in this role, who along with the leadership team, will fully support you to develop a high performing team and operation.


  • Develop, manage and deliver the ecommerce and digital strategy for Arboretum
  • Day to day management of – including optimising content, managing our customers online journey and identifying and delivering key design and development projects
  • Responsible for setting KPIs for ecommerce and delivering weekly and monthly reports on progress against KPIs and overall strategy
  • Manage relationships with multiple 3rd party vendors including web design, CMS company, paid advertising agency, marketing consultants etc
  • Design and deliver online campaigns including costs, production distribution and campaign assets in conjunction with marketing
  • Execution and measurement of digital campaigns, partnerships and email marketing
  • Use research and analytics to drive insight, actions and measurable improvements on site. Explore new development opportunities and identify opportunities to improve the site experience, task completion, and funnel conversion.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of coordination and execution of merchandising/e-commerce initiatives in the e-commerce environment
  • Strong working knowledge of content management systems
  • Proven personnel management experience and an ability to influence, and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business
  • Proven track record managing digital campaigns such as PPC, Display, Social, Email Marketing as well as SEO and Website performance
  • Data and insight driven – including the ability to link site design and features to strategic objectives and the ability to use the data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
  • Experience using Google Analytics, commercial reporting software and excel
