Key Responsibilities:
- Working within the team to manage the suite of clients
- To start forging and managing strong client relationships, starting to own some of these alongside senior team members
- Taking on full responsibility for designated roles / tasks for specific clients
- To develop and manage strong supplier relationships
- Knowledge of latest consumer trends, media, innovations
- Development of media plans – audience analysis, media rationale, budget allocation
- Manage liaising with clients’ creative agency/ agencies to ensure delivery of campaign copy
- Working with the wider team to develop the implementation plan – detailed buying briefs, campaign deliverables, ongoing campaign management and reporting
- Understand the broad workings and structures within the company to assist in the management of campaigns
- Post-campaign management – liaise with the wider team to report on completed campaigns (full campaign analysis and learnings) with ability to interpret data on their reports
- Knowledge of all systems, available research to fulfil planning and reporting role
- Media market knowledge – informing clients of latest trends, news, opportunities
- Competitive market knowledge and the ability to interpret the information
- Presentation development (both writing and presenting)
- Financial management of client’s accounts – billing for all implemented plans, PO management, subsequent queries
- Starts managing and leading more junior team members including oversight of their work, supports learning and development requirements and KPI delivery
Skills/Experience needed:
- Excellent communication
- Knows the media market and is interested in the dynamic and evolving media world
- Is forward thinking, analytical and passionate
- Has good interpersonal skills and demonstrates an ability to manage and lead others
- Has an ability to work under pressure and deliver against deadlines
- Understands the role of media in the overall marketing mix and the role it plays for clients
- Can confidently present ideas to clients and peers
- Has an aptitude for numbers and good computer skills
