Key Responsibilities:
- Leading specific accounts at a senior level; Lead projects and/or campaigns from strategic planning to implementation to reporting stage
- Managing and maintaining a team on specific accounts – ensuring they are equipped to do their job; managing workflow and providing direction, motivation, and support to senior and junior account managers on assigned accounts
- Co-ordination of team to deliver media plans – giving direction on audience analysis, media rationale, budget allocation
- Manage strong supplier relationships, identifying opportunities early and developing innovations to suit our suite of clients
- Knowledge of latest consumer trends, media, innovations
- Development of strategic media thinking – consumer and industry trends
- Delegating workload to wider team, and assist BD in monitoring progression junior members – training, mentoring, 1-2-1 sessions, KPI setting and delivery
- Research, market analysis and consultancy – researching and presentation of Irish and international media market, audience analytics, trend analysis, competitive markets and competitor strategies
- Financial responsibility for specific clients, assisting BD in monitoring of billings, fees, revenue growth, forecasting, liaising with accounts etc.
- Play an active role in and sometimes lead new business tenders
Skills/Experience needed:
- Excellent communication
- Can confidently converse about the media world
- Is forward thinking, analytical and practical in the application of data to briefs
- Experience managing client project teams
- Has an ability to work under pressure, delegate to their team and ensure they deliver against deadlines
- Has strong presentation skills, leads meetings and deals with clients and partner agencies assertively at a senior level
- Has an ability to share knowledge effectively, teach others best practice
- Can manage and forecast budgets across the long-term in order
