We are looking for a Project Manager to join a Digital agency who are small, but with a client base that is both large and high profile. This boutique agency focus on Web Design and Build, and as well as their own client portfolio, they receive a huge amount of work from the multinational Agencies who need the creative and technical capability that this agency can provide.
Reporting to the owner/founder (who is very hands on and also acts as a PM), this is a role for someone ambitious who can manage freelancers, works well on cross-agency projects and eventually will hire and lead a small team.
The ideal candidate:
At least 2 years’ experience working in a Digital, Creative, or Web Design & Build Agency or Studio (essential – the employer cannot consider candidates without agency or studio experience)
The attitude and mindset that is needed to work in an agile, fast paced and realtively new agency – You are able to juggle a variety of tasks, manage external stakeholders and freelancers, and overall have a ‘roll the sleeves up and get it done’ attitude.
You can talk the language of Web Design, UX, UI, Development, and all other terminology that relates to Websites. You can critique the above and make recommendations, as well as manage client expectaitons. It is essential that you can discuss and resolve complex technical problems and solutions.
You have a great client-facing manner! You can present and communicate succinctly and positively, you can bring ideas to life and make goals and actions meaningful and realistic.
Solid listening skills – you can take a client brief, ensure expectations are aligned, be able to challenge or question any aspects which are unclear or unrealistic, and on each step of the journey you understand what the client is communicating to cement relationships and ensure repeat business
You are a glass half full person who brings positivity into the office each day and collaborates really well – this role will work closely with a huge number of partners and stakeholders and so it is essential that you are someone who people naturally warm to, and enjoy working alongside.
This role is suited to someone with 5 years post graduate experience, a minimum of 2 years of this should be in a similar position.
